SDRDC Mission and vision

Our NGO Mission

Southern Diaspora Research and Development Center provides support services, management, development and research services to the International Network of Small Island Developing States NGO’s and Indigenous Peoples Organizations involve in Sustainable Economic and Environmental Development.


To facilitate their participation in NGO activities and various caucuses of the NGO movement at the United Nations.

Development. Providing Cognoscente Learning, STEAM, Arts-in-Education and Sports Clinics, makes the PEN greater than the sword.

Vision Statement

Southern Diaspora Research and Development Center, Inc. (SDRDC)

is an International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO) and a Not-For-Profit Corporation that provides support services,

educational services, cultural and media arts services, management services, development services and research services to communities and other

organizations involved in Sustainable Economic and Environmental Development.


SDRDC was organized at the United Nations Conference on Small Island States in Barbados to serve as the Secretariat of the International Network of Small Island Developing States, NGO’s and Indigenous Peoples (INSNI) and also to serve as a research organization and talent bank for creating new innovative mechanisms for the participation of peoples in disadvantaged communities to obtain Sustainable Economic and Environmental Development and in the elimination of Poverty.
